Christmas Adam?

Did you have a good Christmas Adam, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day!? I did! {Just in case your wondering, Christmas Adam is the day before Christmas Eve :D} We had 4 Christmas celebrations, one at a cousin's house for my dad's side Saturday afternoon, our family one Saturday night, another one at a cousin's house for my mom's side between church on Sunday afternoon, and lastly, one after church Sunday night! I love Christmas time. :) Yay, this week there is no school! I know, your probably thinking that I have hardly gone to school since school has started, but think about it this way. When I was home all those weeks, I was so sick, there was no way to even enjoy it, I would rather have been in school! Throwing up and being in a lot of pain aren't exactly idea activities to do when not in school. So anyway, I am going to enjoy this week off. Tomorrow, I am having a few friends over, not for anything too exciting, just a little "celebration" for me being able to eat real food and keep it down. It will be exactly 2 weeks from my surgery! Then we are going to play games the rest of the afternoon. So many people take their health for granted, I did, until I was sick for 6 months. I am so excited to start this coming year healthy! Believe it or not, I'm ready to roll my sleeves up and get back on track with my school work. Weird, I know, but it fits me! :D Anyway, I noticed I have 29 posts done this past year, and I want to make it 30! With only a few more days left in 2011 I wanted to do it before I forget! Well, I have to finish cleaning my room, yes, the truth comes out....my room isn't always clean. Ttyl,

So long, farewell.....

I'm GLAD to say Good bye!{The tune is just like the song from Sound of Music, and yes, I rewrote the last part. :) Now that that song is in my head and yours for the rest of the day or week if your me, let's continue.} Well, they finally figured out at least one thing that is wrong with me, physically anyway. :) Tuesday afternoon I am having gallbladder surgery. The test I had the day after Thanksgiving showed that my gallbladder isn't working, it doesn't have any stones, it just doesn't work. On the test I had I got a score and that score is the percentage that it's working. A normal person's "score" is 60 or higher, a good one is 35 or higher, mine was a 1!!! Yeah needless to say it's just not working and needs to be removed. They don't know as though it's going to totally cure me because my pain is no where near where my gallbladder is, but I've been praying that's all it is. As scary as surgery is, I am sorta relieved and can't wait till it's out! Now I am off to bed so I can be ready for my last day of school before I have to take a whole week off...actually doesn't sound too bad! :) "Thank you Jesus for giving the doctors wisdom, and please let this be the only problem and make me better, in Your Name, Amen."

False Alarm!

Remember how I said the doctors figured out what is wrong with me, well they changed their minds!!! They got me all excited for nothing, I thought since they knew what it was they could just tell me what to do and I would start feeling better, needless to say I was very disappointed. I went to the doctors Monday and they said that my stomach empties in about 145 minutes, and a normal person's stomach empties in 120 minutes. They said it wasn't really anything to worry about and it isn't what is making me sick. And, of coarse, ya know what I have to do, get ANOTHER test done. It was supposed to be yesterday, but my mom couldn't get any one to cover for her, so now it's tomorrow. I don't have to eat or drink anything radioactive, they are just putting an iv in and they are putting the radioactive dye right in me through the iv. My dad can't take me because he can't stand needles or anything to do with them, and I have to know someone is there because I hate needles and shots too! this time they are checking for my gallbladder with more depth. They have only done an ultrasound that checked for it before and since I have had tons and tons of other tests that have come back normal they are trying everything. Well, I am at my Uncle's house for Thanksgiving so I should probably go.
Please continue to pray that God will give the doctors wisdom to figure this out, it's been since July!

I just can't wait!!

Christmas is coming fast, I love this time of year. Everything seems so warm and cozy inside and, outside, cold and snowy. I love Christmas music, I never think it's to early to listen to it. I really want to put a "Christmasy" background on my blog and Christmas music too! I am trying to hold off for a little while longer, maybe till after Thanksgiving {even though since November 1st I have been listening to Christmas music}. So, I decided I should put a new background on for a change, just so I don't put Christmas "decorations" up just yet! :D



Also, I have been quite sick for a while. Since July, but it started getting worse in September. I have had tons of test, eating and drinking really nasty things, and nothing, everything came back fine. Well, finally, I got some answers!! Tuesday I had a test and that one finally showed some thing wrong, and that it really isn't "just in my head". They have found that my stomach doesn't empty correctly. Which is causing me to either throw up what I ate, or if it stays down, it causes a lot of pain. I don't know anything about it, yet. I don't go back to the doctors till the 21
st of this month, and then I will be able to ask questions, and find out what can be done. I am so thankful that they finally figured it out! It is really neat to see the Lord answer a prayer!! If you were praying, thank you!
